Interesting reading about Hemmings' mental health issues, which I wasn't previously aware of. He's been very frank about past difficulties and hopefully in a better place mentally, now.

However, despite the encouraging pre-season where he was getting and converting chances, things seem to have gone off the boil recently.
This was a guardian interview with him

Turnbull injured? Lewis for Nevitt most predicted. Taylor on the bench ahead of Burton.

Carlisle missing Kristian Dennis who got both goals at PP.

From the commentary it's been coming, we have hardly been in the game, it sounds as bad as last Saturday if not worse.
Was the goal a mistake by Doohan?

Hemmings had a good chance early on and that seems to be it from Rovers so far. All Carlisle and as bigmart says no surprise.

Might as well change to a back 4 for the second half and have a go at them as this system is not working at all.

I don’t think many of us are surprised. Time for a reshuffle at HT?

Stats seems to suggest the home side deserve their half time lead. 62% possession and 8 shots instead of our 3 shots. Doesn’t sound like we’ve created much.

Commentary suggest a lot of problems coming from down our left. Lewis barely mentioned, Hemmings mainly for his early miss. Bringing Nevitt on might give us more in attack but the problem on the left harder to solve.

He parried the shot by Sho-Silva which Gibson finished off. Not sure whether he could have put it further away with the save

Given Bristow seemed to being having a lot of defensive problems in the first half, might have been tempted to take Ethan off. We did have the ball in the net but disallowed.
