The two goals Cook scored were a classic example of what experience gets you. Our defenders switched off and weren't doing their jobs and the experienced Cook got inbetween them to head home. It cannot be underrated.

Right call to go to a back four, Byrne may feel a bit hard done by to be dropped. Unsure about the midfield with McAlear keeping his place despite looking jaded recently.

Salford look like we have in the past; lots of possession with little end product. We’re doing a decent job here and let’s hope we continue in the same manner. Definitely a game that’s there for the taking.
