I would have said that Morris's best and most natural position is in the number ten role, not out wide in a 442.
Yes, I think he is a decent player but does not deserve to start ahead of those mentioned on his performances so far. It's funny how we all look at things different but I have not been all that impressed with McPake. He's been OK, but nothing spectaular and I think we have better players such as Hawkes, Morris, Warrington etc.. I don't there is any falling out, it is just that he isn't better than what we have available.
He is probably performing more poorly than the other two in training. I don't think his performances have been totally convincing to date, although I think he will come good. While I'm unsure that McPake should be routinely starting on current form, the fact that he's not getting any game time at all is puzzling. Recently, Hawkes and Morris have both been patchy and it is strange in the context of our below par recent performances that he's not getting a look-in.
They are unbeaten in fourteen, I think. Could that run end at Prenton Park next Friday.....Mansfield are on an unbelievable run. Next Friday is going to be tough. Especially if we lose tomorrow
Yes some very good players for this level. Plus clough has promotion experience with Burton. They are unbeaten in fourteen, I think. Could that run end at Prenton Park next Friday.....
It is no surprise when you look at the players they have got. Akins, Longstaff, Quinn, Murphy and Oates all in their starting line up tonight.
