Messi, Ronaldo, Vardy. We certainly didn't sign them.

Seriously, this is probably spin. Strikers who score goals for fun don't become available very often and when they do, they tend not to sign for Tranmere Rovers.

I want to like Brabin but he gives nothing back. Not much personality. At least Adams could crack a smile or joke now and again. I await in anticipation for GB second season in charge. Who knows maybe we'll see this entertaining football the club is so keen on selling.

Met Brabin last week, spent over an hour in his company and actually warmed to him! Think he deals with pressure by going on the defensive when talking. Will still be judged on results, mind!

That's good to hear. We fans expect a lot of our managers. He's probably very good at communicating with players (he has to be), but it's a shame he has no real media persona like Les or Ronnie. But if he gets better results on the field, I'm sure we'll forgive him!

It is good to see mostly constructive criticism of Brabin on this thread. Who'd be a manager at Tranmere. Most since King have been slagged off by supporters. The RLC post is a good synopsis. Brabin isn't the type of person to worry about being liked or explaining his choices, with one or two clearly a bit odd from an outsider perspective. E.g. Why start someone who is clearly unfit. Still, W8, D4, L2 of last 14 is reasonable return. Even th 0 0 with Dover should be put into perspective because they won their next game 4 1

How did you happen to spend an hour in his company? It's not something many Rovers fans would get a chance of.
