We seem to be having difficulty keeping possession at present, game gone scrappy.

FFS and a scramble at a corner makes it 1–1

Gutted not to pick up three points as the lads worked their socks off. For the majority of the game we were excellent at the back with Davies in particular superb.

Unfortunately we just didn’t do enough in the second half going forward to get the all important second goal. Apter excellent first half was basically a spectator second half. Dennis struggled second half and their keeper had nothing to do. At 1-0 there is always a risk they just need one moment to equalise and they did.

Let’s try and be positive. The losing away run has ended and before kick off I would have taken a point. We could have lost it in the end too.

Still big question marks whether without Norris we can be good enough in attacking areas.

MOM Tom Davies for me.

Obviously hugely disappointing at the end, but not a disaster with FGR also dropping points. It has been a big week and I would have taken four points beforehand. I thought we actually did enough for the victory today, but when that many balls are lumped into the box one will fall unkindly eventually.

We have finally ended the run of away defeats and at least we look a well organised side now in the 442. I agree with Sparky that Davies was superb and man of the match. Both Turnbull and Davies look their old selves now.

Despite the positivity, you could write the script. Reality is, we need to get some away wins on the board or there’ll be huge pressure on our home games. Another missed opportunity sadly.

Felt like only a matter of time before the equaliser went in, frustrating though it was to concede late again. The distribution wasn't so assured in the second half, spells of head tennis and when we did play in on the deck, Sutton were wise to our out balls and usually blocked them off. Dennis usually seemed to be out wide more and Jennings central, which was strange. The subs seemed to disrupt our flow a bit, think I'd have limited to Saunders for Apter and Pike for O'Connor late on as Lee seemed he might have picked up a knock.

Agree with Tom Davies as MoM

Quite simply, still not good enough without a target man/striker.
Gonna struggle.
Not enough going in one end, too many in the other!
Sound familiar?

Thought a point would be good, but it does feel as if another opportunity has been thrown away!

2 points dropped. They need to be able to close out games.

It shows have far we have sunk to be able to consider using "excellent" and "superb" in relation to our defence when a poor team like Sutton United had so many free headers in our box, one of which from their no.9 actually led to their equaliser. Yes, we'd have taken a point, against the team bottom of the table, before the ko that's how bad this squad is. It would struggle, or perhaps that should be, it will struggle in the National League next season. It has been proven time and time again this season that our defence is really really poor and upfront, and in midfield, we are non-existent. Mellon must be sighing with relief that we relieved him of any responsibility for the shambles that is our current set-up.
