We have played well this half but Mansfield have just missed a sitter.

The stags should be level after Reid fires wide. They’ve brought their skipper on and have stepped it up in the last few minutes.
Rovers need another goal

Nugent and Kirby on for Crawford and Morris.

Would have kept Kieron on as he’s been very good today

The stags level with a decent volley but he had too much space and time to hit it

We have to score a second at the start of the half when we are on top. We can't rely on one goal per game.

Naughty challenge from Nugent who had a look at Rawson and then caught him with the arm.

anyway are rovers capable of getting another in open play? Get Lloyd on ASAP

Well is it another 2 points dropped or 1 gained? No doubt Keith will mention the ‘positive point’ but once again our lack of threat in central attacking areas was exposed. We do ok up to a point but as RLC said we need to get more than one goal when on top as 1-0 is never enough. Lots of crosses into the box but nothing from them. Taking Morris off was a mistake as he set up the goal and was playing well with quite a few second half attacks coming down the right hand side. Just in injury time Khan sent a great cross in but once again no one there attacking it. It’s happening too often.

Not sure why Lloyd didn’t come on either. Nugent offered very little again and having him as our only attacking back up just isn’t enough if we want automatic promotion. Can someone ask Keith where the hell is CBT?!? MOM for me was Kieron Morris.

Still, all that said, other results weren’t bad but next weekend is massive

Bloody Cambridge with another late goal.

They know how to score more than one

2 points dropped no matter what Keith says about it.

We desperately need Vaughan back

This is going to happen up until the season finishes because we do not have that 'fox in the box' as Dave H mentioned. We are really going to have to grind out results if we want the autos.

Too many of them after over 50 years!
Positive - now in the automatic promotion places due to FGR losing. Opportunities: To be more incisive and have someone in the box to meet the crosses. At this rate of firepower it will be a limp across the line to the playoffs. Negatives. Bolton form/ Cambridge back on track. Cheltenham and Cambridge games...

A decent performance from Rovers but a very disappointing result.

We created enough chances in the second half to seal the victory - Crawford, Nugent and Lewis should all have done better - and we can't expect to keep a clean sheet in every match, particularly against a side like Mansfield who committed bodies forward and looked dangerous all game. As Sparky says, there were numerous balls fizzed across the box which were not attacked and Nugent simply does not offer enough.

I thought it was the wrong decision to take off Morris and Lloyd should have been on the pitch much earlier.

The absence of Vaughan is really starting to tell now, with a shortage of goals and three draws in the last four matches. That form is nowhere near good enough for automatic promotion and I can't see us making the top three unless Vaughan is back very soon.

Of those players who did feature, I thought Woolery, Feeney and Spearing had good games, with Morris man of the match.

There is huge pressure on the Cheltenham and Cambridge games now, and I am not sure we have enough to take the points we need.
