the fa vase was b4 the trophy game the fans stayed behinde . to watch orient had 20k there and afc had 5k so it makes sense to have both games on the same day
About 11,500.How many have we sold to date guys, do we know? I know we'd exceeded 10k at the back end of last week....
Thanks, Mart. Shame we didn't do the same with Nors.BBTC, Fylde have the option to extend Rowe's contract so I don't think he will be leaving them
He would never have signed it. We did manage to extend his contract mid-term a couple of years ago, but there was no chance of us doing it this time around. Thanks, Mart. Shame we didn't do the same with Nors.
For a club of our size and resources, deals longer than two years are generally too much of a risk.
When Norwood signed his last contract he was not even a guaranteed starter at National League level and was sometimes behind Andy Mangan in the pecking order. Given that we had the ambition of reaching Leagues Two and One in the near future, levels that Norwood had never played at before, it would have been too much of a risk to offer him a very long contract. We did not know how good he was, or how he would adapt to a higher level. We can't simply stockpile players on decent wages in the way Premier League clubs can.
Of course we would offer Norwood all the riches in the world now, but hindsight is 20-20.
The three year contracts offered to Kirby and Stockton were completely daft and were the brainchild of Jeremy Butler, which says it all.
