Couldn’t see McPake being a Troy Deeney type of player, but a bit surprised he’s not got himself fixed up somewhere.

There does seem to be quite a bit of activity at L2 level if mostly loan deals.

More chance of Andy Cole playing for us than Cole Stockton. The latter had some unfair treatment from the SWA so can’t see him ever coming back.

McPake a funny player. Must have ability given his time at rangers but one of those wide players who doesn’t have lots of pace. Wasn’t overly impressed with him during his time with us

I think it is chicken and egg in the case of Stockton.

I thought he did have an attitude problem when he was here. A bit temperamental and sulky and only Mellon really got consistent performances from him. That is borne out by his performance at other clubs, where he has hot streaks but then goes for long periods without scoring.

I agree it would not work out if he came back here.
