Another big opportunity for Fleetwood. They should have scored twice already. Rovers looking energetic but too light up front. Too many spaces at the back and exploiting our wings again.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect is Dawes appearance. Finally dressed in the club training gear like the other coaching staff. Must have been on social media!

Credit to the ref who books their lad for diving in the box

Another Fleetwood chance. Hits post and goes out. Unchallenged in box.

Tshimanga again. Another free shot on goal, great save McGee.

Feels like just a matter of time before they score

Norris off for Morris and he doesn’t look injured (or impressed)

I can only think Dawes thought the lad was having a tough time. Could have waited for HT IMO.

That don't bode well, can't be very good for his confidence to do that on his debut
He looked way off the pace. Tbh didn't chase back with any gusto once beaten.
Good to see Walker looking in better shape. Also goes for McAlear who looks composed on the ball.

I didn't think Norris looked particularly comfortable, though agree with Ian that it could have waited until the break. We’ve already seen Morris misjudging and leaving us exposed I’d rather he was put in the middle and Merrie moved to left-back tbh. Apter aside, the midfield don’t seem to be carrying the ball forward much. Fleetwood having a much greater goal threat and while it’s not as much a battering as Wrexham gave us feels like only a matter of time before the hosts score.

Are we still going to play a back four with Merrie moving to LB?

Yes do it at half time with an arm round the shoulder. Not with five minutes of the half left in front of all the fans. Guess he won’t be playing on Saturday then

Ball gets played across the goal line, noone to bang it in for Fleetwood. Big gaps on the left enabling the cross.
