As I suspected, the team that finished the game last week starts today.

Wonder what Merrie’s done to upset Micky, not even on the bench. It’s an adventurous line-up, where we will need a more clinical approach from the forwards.

Plenty of pace in the dale side causing a few problems. Bookings for Watson and Davies so far. Need to get mcmanaman into the game

By the sounds of it we are riding our luck somewhat with Hawkes the only threat and has hit the post.

Dale the better side so far and getting down both flanks too easily a bit like Hartlepool did. They arguably should be in front although hawkes hit the post

Half time 0-0. Fairly typical of rovers recently. Not conceded but apart from hawkes hitting the post we’ve created nothing. Another half like that and I can see dale nicking a winner. Still big concerns about our squad having enough goals. A shame that after a weeks training Maynard wasn’t able to start

We seem to be badly lacking in creativity so far thus season

The Hawkes effort aside, Rovers have barely mustered a shot. Morris having another torrid game, Cogley mostly stifled and Murphy had a few jitters. Dale have come close more than once. Card happy Brakespear living up to reputation with some harsh cards for Rovers. Doubt we’ll make the 90 with eleven at this rate.

Frurtratingly, Rochdale don't even look that good. At some point, we have to start attacking teams. We might nick it by a goal again but I do think we are riding our luck a little with this setup.

Mcmanaman goes off injured for Feeney. A 34 year old replaced by A 35 year old as their commentator mentioned. The formers part time rovers career continues

Murphy off injured for Doohan after a collision with Clarke. Hopefully nothing serious

Didn't look great that for Murphy. Just what we do not need.

Dale deservedly take the lead. We’ve been poor all afternoon

Doohan done very well after coming on, but again too much emphasis on defending again.. What have we done in attack? Next to nothing.
