1-1 but an avoidable goal I think. Bristow exposed which led to the corner. Sent to the edge of the box and fired in but Doohan should have done better in my opinion as it wasn’t in the corner albeit had some power

He should definitely have saved it.

We need to step it up a lot if we are going to get anything out of the game

1-1 at the break and probably a fair reflection. Barrow were coming into it a bit before the goal and although Doohan hasn’t had much to do, the goal apart their keeper has been a spectator.

We need to do better in the final third as Barrow more than capable of scoring again given their good home record

I know we scored early, but we didnt push on after that. Barrow have slowly taken grip of the game and we have done nothing up front since. Rovers have had some defending to do too.

Need more from the front two plus the two wide men. A draw wouldn’t be a bad result with a very winnable game on New Year’s Day to come but barrow will fancy themselves second half

It was poor defending for the Barrow goal, which was well hit in the ample time that Stevens had to finish. Perhaps Doohan could have done better with the shot but had we closed down better beforehand they don’t even get the opportunity.

After the good start and early goal Rovers have been on the back-foot throughout, there’s too much sloppy ball given away and rarely troubling their defence. We need to make some tactical tweaks or won’t be getting anything from this one.
