ok looking round this thread, there are 6 locals who look keen to join, I have a mate who wants to theres 7 and I have another mate whos after a bit of footy, so theres 8. I could ask as few more.

So far 8 who are locals. Which is ok for 5/6/7 a side. And of course Ian as manager.

I'm really up for this if it gets going. COME ON!!!!

1. Where would we play?
2. Would there be an age cap?
3. Would it cost?
4. How would I know you if I came to training?
5. How would I get there :roll: :lol:

Regarding your questions matthew the rover, I know seanyb mentioned he'll sort out an astroturf or something so I think he'll have some answers.

1. Well maybe a few practice matches between ourselves. My suggetions for astroturf are Oval/ Bidston tennis centre/ Neston.

2. No age cap.

3. Split the cost of hiring a pitch. Its on average the cost is £25-£30 so between 12 people about £2-£3 each per hour.

4. Good question! Wear tranmere shirts, half with home and the other half with away maybe.

5. I drive and I'm sure other members do so I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem there.

Once we've had practice matches and enough commited bodies then we could look at playing 11 a side match against someone like the rearguard. Is that ok?

I'd be up for a kick about if anything happens as soon as the week starting the 24th October as thats the week i'm up in B'head. Even if its just to make up the numbers in training.
