A suspected, Lewis comes in for Hawkes. Hockenhull back on the bench but presumably not fit to start.

We could do with scoring first in this game as if we go behind early could be a very tough ask

Think it’s asking a lot of Robinson who is primarily a left-back to play on the right side of central defence.

Doing OK here with Mansfield trying to push forwards. Our ball retention needs to be a lot better though.

Decent move by Rovers. Nevitt lays it off nicely to McAlear who drives it over the bar.

Yes, he's done well so far. Rovers moving slightly further up field now after a decent spell of pressure from Mansfield from the KO. Boeteng looks a bit tricky on the edge of box, Rovers not wanting to put a tackle in.

Need Lewis to get move involved to link up play with the front two.

Lewis perhaps not as naturally attacking as Hawkes but away from home probably more disciplined and experienced of course

Yeah. Terrible pass from Bowery to Hemmings. Keeper came out quick to scuff the relatively weak shot.

Looked like a penalty. Jameson looking better today. Far too many long balls which Hawkins picks up every time. Mansfield playing the better football but they are creating little.

Hemmings clears off the line after a scramble in the box.

Sounds like a decent half of football and a vast improvement on last week. Is this because we’re playing a more footballing side who aren’t as aerial as Stevenage? Either way let’s keep it going

I would guess so, but I think the changes at the back with Byrne moving to the centre of the back three and Jameson to the left will also have helped.
