A win for Oxford. Evatt was bitterly disappointed afterwards with the Bolton performance. Worst of the season he said.
I would be surprised if the noblot had a shot on target.
Oxford were very good their tactics were dominant and noblot had no answer to Murphy.
Cogley as we're the rest of the side were awful.
best team won.

Crawley about to defeat Nevitt's Crewe in the League Two play off final.

Good that we keep one of our local fixtures next season, and the success of both clubs demonstrates that you don't need huge resources at this level if you are well managed.

A fairly quiet game for Nevitt and Crawley deservedly the victors. Will be interesting whether it’s Elliot’s last game for the Alex with his contract up.

Agree it’s better for us to have a close away game and as you say Crawley have shown it’s not all down to money. Their recruitment particularly from the lower leagues has been excellent.

Joe Maguire and Arthur Lomax have been released by NWCL side Bury. It doesn’t look like there’s much left in the game for either of them now, although I suppose Lomax does still have age on his side.

Scott Lindsey must be on for Manager of the Decade, never mind Manager of the Year, for how he’s turned that basket case club around! Wonder if any bigger clubs are looking at him.

Byrne didn’t look that good for us, but fared reasonably at Pools before and Stockport afterwards. Got to be an improvement on Ash Taylor 2024 for Bradford

No surprise re Stockton. Looks like there are very serious financial issues at Morecambe with the owner being under pressure to sell. Any player who can get out appears to be taking the opportunity! Wages paid late etc.

Stockton was on loan at Barrow from Burton.

Mike Jackson rumoured to be on the verge of joining Bayern Munich as part of Vincent Kompanys coaching team
I think every manager in Europe has been linked with the Bayern job now, so it might not come off. However, if it did, it would be some journey for Jackson: sacked after eleven games in League Two, but now good enough for the Allianz.

I think it emphasises the very wide dividing line between a good coach and a good manager. Jacko wasn’t the first Rovers boss to realise this. Remember Dave Watson and Rob Edwards?

Wonder what Harry Kane makes of all this!!

Or even Micky. His old number 2 certainly trumps his current number 2 hands down! (And he’s also recently lost his first team coach, who apparently isn’t being replaced).
