No Hawkes, but hopefully Lewis can wreak some havoc in and around the box if the CMs can find him, or any scraps come his way via Nevitt & Hemmings.

Agreed Bigmart - maybe MM trying to engineer Burton's permanent departure but even so then we don't put Taylor on the bench despite Mumbongo presumably being injured. Doesn't give much flexibility to put it mildly especially if Nevitt isn't 100%!
Pleased however to see Merrie get a start. He needs to prove to MM he deserves to be playing.

Presume Robinson injured. It didn’t sound from the Accy commentary that Turnbull could last a full game, so maybe Hockenhull on at the break or we revert to a back four. Would have thought Hawkes deserved a start after midweek and the lack of any out and out forward on the bench puzzling given Burton loaned out.

I know that but if he is fit enough to now go on the bench why wasn't he there from the blooming start? Fisher is a midfielder FFS so not even a like for like...

I've no issue that the manager and coaches think Burton should go out on loan but it should only be done when we have signed another striker as its clear Mumbongo is struggling for fitness
