He was quite favourably regarded by their fans and seemed to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. Will be interesting
to see what version of Norman they get second time around.
 
Ohh dear, he turned out to be a big disappointment.
 
I think it is a decent move for Norman, considering how poor he was last season. It is quite surprising he found another League club.

Yes amazing isn't it! Doesn't say length of contract but even if only a year... also read he was Player of the Year two consecutive years last time! Mind boggles considering how bad he was for us last season.

We do have a recent history of turning decent players into poor ones rather quickly, though!
 
He did also get L2 RB of the year season before last. An odd player, has quality but Newport will be around us again next season so not expecting too much.

I see Doidge has also signed for Newport. Scored a few goals for FGR.

Interesting to see how he does from now on. Only 31 but, after the ride he’s been on, going back to the muck and nettles of regular fourth division football would certainly test his motivation.

He’s a relatively big name in the EFL after his Wrexham exploits but had unsuccessful loan spells at Bradford and Wigan in L1 last season. He’s 32 in November.

Salford splashing the cash so could probably afford him.
 
Kristian Dennis has agreed a deal to join Altrincham according to Pete O’Rourke. Not yet announced by Alty.
