I can see the logic of adding gradually to the squad given the major changes made over the summer. We've got four strikers already, if Brabin wants a physical one he really ought to have thought about that earlier. Maybe a slot if Stockton's loaned out, but surely not a priority?

I haven't seen enough of Mekki to form an opinion either way, unfair to write him off after a couple of sub appearances and a handful of pre-season friendlies. If Brabin's that quick to judge, he would be as bad as Adams. It would be good if we were able to recruit another wide player, preferably with pace as that is something which is lacking in the current squad.

Hopefully the further signings will include a specialist right-back.

I agree, it is not a priority, but others on here have suggested it is.

No need for a right back either.

The strikers we have can score goals, they just need the service. I would concentrate on wide players. No need for a specialist right back, the defence really isn't causing much concern.
