We lose on penalties as cogley, OConnor and Lewis all miss. A shame as it sounded like for the most part a decent perofmromace.

All the more frustrating that we were so close to a clean sheet, but both Simeu and turnbull are both missing for the next two league games. Also annoying that it sounds like our strikers again had some good chances but couldn’t score

Yeah, in a game where Tranmere played well, we could only muster the one goal. Same old same unfortunately and the pens weren’t great either.

It’s a real pity - I thought we played really well and Burton scored with probably their only real shot at goal in 90th minute !

Less said about our sudden death penalty takers the better - but theirs were not much better !

Yes it sounds like we had some good chances but once again the strikers were found wanting. I’m not going to mention poor recruitment again (injury prone strikers), but I can’t help myself. Why they don’t just give Burton a chance I don’t know. He can’t be any worse!!
