Was just browsing the internet and fell across this site, sporting heroes. Isn't very up to date, but I checked out the sporting heroes for Tranmere Rovers and this is what came up:

Those were the days when we had some quality players wasn't it. We use to play some good side's and turn them over. maybe it wont be long till we see good attacking football back at Prenton Park.

I'm getting all misty eyed.

What a team we had 10 years ago, class.

We're still a boss club though, best in the land, god bless the lads.

Nice find, and some good clear pics. Yeah, those were the days. Well, at least we have memories to look back on.

Nevin and Aldo. Two of my all time fav TRFC players.
Magic.

I remember Pat Nevin coming to Dublin soon after he joined the club for some friendlies. It was magic watching him and Aldo play together. He was so bloody quick.

Cheers for the new Avatars Ian. Top Stuff :D :D :D
