An interesting snippet. Ryan Edmondson was a Leeds junior who played three times for England Under 19s. However, his career did not take off and he was eventually released by Carlile in January 2023 after Paul Simpson decided that he was surplus to requirements. He took a risk and came to Australia. He has just scored two goals in the Australian Cup Final. We get a few players like him both from UK and elsewhere. There are even a few Brazilians.
