So do we hope the wind will be our saviour second half or make some changes?

Foley for McPake. Unsure as Foley wasn’t that hot when he came on as sub in midweek.

Better from Rovers. At least we are playing it on the floor.

Various shots from Rovers now . Good pressure. Different team this half.

Swindon have equalised. Sounding better for Rovers though nothing to show for it yet.

Well, that was a true game of two halves. Sutton much better in the first, Tranmere much better in the second. We did have numerous good chances to score in the second and it’s shame we couldn’t get all three but a point on the road isn’t too bad at all.

On paper a good result against another promotion candidate and, most importantly, ends the dismal away run.

Glad we got the point might even have deserved them all on the second half showing. Other results today didn’t particularly fall our way though.

Pleased we got a point but there seems to be a theme here. We only seem to come to life in the second half of games. Has been the case in at least the last few games. Not sure why.

Yes. The first half was awful to be honest.

We probably did although that’s not to say Sutton didn’t have a few good chances themselves in the second half.

At least we didn't lose but really another missed opportunity to get back in the top 3.
It is very tight between 2nd and 10th and all to play for but unless we can get a couple of wins away I doubt we will make the top 3.

A point on our travels never a bad result and at half time I would have taken it. It is baffling how different we were in each half. First half mirrored recent away games. Just going through the motions at times, creating nothing and just seemingly happy to play for a point.
The goal was disappointing as like Northampton another from a corner. Without that we get 3 points. Murphy kept the score line down to 1-0. Second half much better and a deserved equaliser and we had other chances but they could have won it too.
So a point no more than we deserved but questions have to be asked why we were so poor first half. Hemmings was anonymous all game and I thought it was worth putting Jolley on for Nevitt or Kane late on just to try something different.
Not a bad result in the end but 3 points next Saturday at Colchester (who host FGR on Monday), is a must

We need to find a way of getting Hemmings move involved in games. He's our best option up front and is sometimes anonymous in games. Nevitt had a great chance very late on which he controlled well but just couldnt get the shot off before the keeper smothered it.

I agree. Hemming is a proven goal scorer throughout his career but it’s just not working for us. Apart from a few penalties it’s one goal in open play in around a dozen games. Today he was frequently out wide and not really involved.

That said, if we go up then who cares who scores
