League Two Sutton Utd v Rovers

I see Rovers unchanged both in starting xi and bench from Tuesday, so the possibility of a Spearing cameo or start a bit of a smoke-screen
 
Yeah, it was probably a bit too early for him especially in a game that is going to be a bit more direct.

Not too disappointed with this. If he was on the bench and things were going badly there may be a temptation to bring him on. I don't think Spearing is a cameo-type of player and would rather he came back in when fully ready, probably as a starter. We only need to look at Tollitt to see how horribly things can go wrong when rushing players back. Perhaps even Glatzel?
 
I want to see a bit more from the midfielders today in terms of running past players, feeding the strikers. None of this messing around wasting 45 minutes. Let's be positive and attack them. It's a winnable game so lets go win it!

Yes, we have the personnel so let's play to our strengths.

If we lose this will be 5th away defeat in a row, frankly that's awful and the reason we are struggling to go up.
 
Poor goal to concede. Corner headed in after their last lost Nevitt who was marking him. Need to do more to sort this away form out
 
It sounded mostly Sutton even before they scored. Too much aerial stuff, playing to their strengths.
 
Sounds so one sided, need get half time only 1 down or could be messy again
 
Poor. Very poor. 25mins they’ve had 5 shots we’ve had zero. Getting outmuscled in midfield and toothless going forward. Still plenty of time but much better needed. At this rate they’ll get a second before half time
 
We are not creating anything and like Boz says, playing to their strengths. I just don’t get it.
 
We had a corner early on. That’s about as progressive as it’s been. We are struggling to cope in the air. It’s not pretty but it’s effective for Sutton.
 
Sadly, as has already been highlighted, this is against a much-weakened Sutton side. Hopefully, we can get a spark from somewhere.
 
1-0 isn’t awful @ HT considering. Wind behind us second half, let’s attack!
 
Well we managed to get a shot on target late on through hawkes but Murphy has kept us in it. The only positive is it is only 1-0 but unless things change it’ll be another away defeat
