Seb Carole has been realeased by Leeds and is now a free agent. We don't have hardly any wingers and he looked quite tricky when he came on when we beat them 2-0. Could he be worth signing?

New winger

We could do with a new winger as shuker is looking awful at the moment :shock: and most of tranmere's play is moving through the middle of the pitch. So we could do with a wide option to open the game up.

It would be nice to have more wide options. Would his personal terms be a problem though?

There's an interesting article with Dave Philpotts on the Daily Post website today about the recruitment policy. Basically he says they look for versatile players who can adapt to different formations, and different positions if necessary. Which makes sense for lower leagued teams, 11 Gary Jones'!

Basically, we already have an out and out winger in Shukes, who can't play anywhere else, so another would be a luxury and possibly one we can't afford. Sonko, Moore, Greenacre seem to be there to cover wide areas - albeit the latter 2 are far better up top as strikers, but this is modern day league one football, we have no billionaire owner to afford a luxury squad with specialist players unfortunately.
