Yet again, the EPL club comes out of this better off in practice, as we are forced into playing so many games close together. In theory, Watford suffer too, but in practice they don't as their first team will have the night off at PP. The silver linings are we might make a little more money if the replay is televised and our crocks will have another nine days to recover. However, we seem to get new players injured after virtually every game. Hopefully, by the time we get knocked out of the cup, our relegation rivals will still be in sight.

If we win next Thursday not only do we have a fixture log jam to deal with and a deteriorating pitch to keep playable, we have 2 days to sort out arrangements for the next round and only 8 to strengthen our squad. Stress levels will be through the roof at PP!

If we start winning, it won't seem so bad, but if our winless run continues, the pressure on everyone at the club will mount.

I would think the Ipswich game will be in doubt having seen pictures of the pitch

Worrying. The latest weather forecast suggests about a day + of rain but should be dry from mid Friday on. Will that be enough time to get the pitch ready?

There has not been much rain the last couple of days and there is not much forecast, so I think if the game is called off it will be due to the existing state of the pitch. The pitch will remain covered and heated until Saturday.

Ticket news for the potential United game. Season ticket holders have priority from 5pm on Friday (online) and 10am on Saturday (in the club shop).

Watford ticket holders get priority from Friday 24th in the event that we go through.

Whether we win the replay or not seems to have had quite a significant ripple effect on fixtures. From what I can see, depending on the result of Thursday's game:
Blackpool v Tranmere on Sat 25th will take place if we win, rescheduled if we lose
Tranmere v Sunderland may be put back a day to Wednesday if we win (I heard this somewhere, is it true?)
Liverpool Women v Blackburn Women will have to be rescheduled or played elsewhere if we win (scheduled for Sunday)
Quite difficult to make any plans!
At least pay on the day is available at Blackpool rather than committing to a ticket and then wondering if I can make a rearranged midweek fixture!

Blackpool game will be off if we win you mean? The Utd game is on the Sunday I believe.

I know it’s not the clubs fault but having to organise this around workhas been the hardest thing.
