I thought we played well tonight and were unlucky to lose the game. Over the ninety minutes we actually created the better chances and, other than a spell of twenty minutes in the first half where we continually gave the ball away, played some good football and actually dominated the majority of the second half. Robinson was sharp and Thompson was superb when coming on. We put together a great move for our consolation goal, which was coolly finished by Rowe. Lowe was generally kept quiet, but still showed his class when hitting the target a couple of times from the edge of the box. Akpro continues to frustrate me.

Burnley are a classy side in possession, so tonight's game was a good test which we generally coped pretty well with.

I enjoyed the game, points raised for me are:-

Akpro looks like he is carrying some added timber, and lost pace.
ABB is a player I really like, but couldnt trap a bag of sand.
centre mid looks a bit light weight (need to learn how to use there body better,as Wallace does)
We are going to rely on Robbo A LOT again this season
OFW kicking and vocals have improved 10000000%
Lowe put a shift in without a great deal of service
Thompson was impressive, but would be 5 mph quicker if he cut his hair :)

Burnley are a slick side, nice to watch.

But we where not outplayed or bullied.
