I thought we played well tonight and were unlucky to lose the game. Over the ninety minutes we actually created the better chances and, other than a spell of twenty minutes in the first half where we continually gave the ball away, played some good football and actually dominated the majority of the second half. Robinson was sharp and Thompson was superb when coming on. We put together a great move for our consolation goal, which was coolly finished by Rowe. Lowe was generally kept quiet, but still showed his class when hitting the target a couple of times from the edge of the box. Akpro continues to frustrate me.
Burnley are a classy side in possession, so tonight's game was a good test which we generally coped pretty well with.
