Yes a club record. The visit of Tranmere rovers was just what they needed.

Get Jameson off at half time and go to 4 at the back and get hawkes on. Defensively they aren’t great but we don’t have enough in the final third

We've done nothing since they equalised. We looked decent before then. Heads have gone down a bit. Give them a rollicking at half time. Agreed, we need more presence up front. We need someone to run at them, such as Hawkes. Hemmings playing with his back to goal all game.

Yes I’ve thought that. Technically good with his passing but slow on the turn and out muscled.

Nevitt headed over a chance but wasn’t easy. Hemmings should have scored at least one of his chances albeit neither easy but should have done better with them.
No excuse though for poor defending

Like for like changes with Nolan and OConnor on for merrie and Lewis. The latter set up our goal of course. Need hawkes on

Strange substitutions at h/t. It didn’t sound like Merrie was playing badly though I note what’s said about Lewis. O’Connor a more defensive option and the little I’ve seen of Nolan he’s still mentally recovering from his injury. I’d agree Hawkes needed on.
