It was a decent point for Rovers. Got quite nervy in the closing minutes as we were defending deep and unable to keep possession, but Rovers hung on. Good backing from the SWA again.
As well as the trio of O’Connor Finley and Woolery mentioned, I thought Jayden Joseph put in a decent performance and seemed to be involved in a lot of our better attacking play.
If Rovers can follow it up with a result against the form team from Brizzle it could amount to a turning point. If on the other hand that game is a re-run of other recent home games, it will amount to just a false dawn. Watch this space…
