I am not too surprised by this line-up. He is giving Doohan another chance and replacing off-form Davies with NKP. He has brought in O'Connor as a second defensive midfielder and Watson to sit behind Nevitt. We are stronger defensively but less creative in the middle of the park. I think Micky is relying on the wings to create goals, but McManaman and Feeney will have to put in a shift and be supported well by JDC and MacDonald.

BBTC, Clarke is carrying an injury and has been as off form as Davies, while Doohan has already had another chance after the poor showing v Northampton. Feeney has shown little sign of putting in a shift recently and a 9 man bench which doesn’t give Walker a chance assuming his parent club have given permission to play means no pace in the attacking half.

Doesn’t sound entirely comfortable but good to be in front.

Seem to be hanging on a bit and as Paul Harper ex of this site says rather negative subs from Rovers. Doohan made an excellent save.

Great result away from home and into the next round. Hopefully gives some confidence to restart our league form

Well a scruffy win by the sounds of it but hey through to next round, just hope for a home draw.

Yes, bit scruffy but sounded like a battling performance with some good defending in the second half. We'll take a win though to get us out of the rut and a draw into the 2nd round!

Grateful for the win and hope that we’re going to get a better second round draw, either at home or new ground like Buxton away.

god that was hard to listen to rovers seem very negative, glad we got the win but come on we need more energy in the centre of the park, as for Walker and Maynard what is the point of bringing them into the club both will be gone in Jan

A win is a win however painful! There seems to be very little answer on the goalscoring front!

The last 3 games we have created very little so we won't score many goals, we need more creativity
