Good good. Nevitt needed a break. Hopefully Lewis can click with Hemmings. Merrie deserved a place from Tues. Come on Rovers!

Or will Lewis play something akin to a second striker? I felt that Hemmings-Lewis ought to have been given some time in the notlob game, but can understand resting Nevitt. It will be interesting seeing how this line-up pans out.

I hope we’re playing two up top. Walsall are woefully out of form so are there for the taking.

It's quite a positive line-up, particularly away from home. It's a very young team with lots of energy and creativity but my main worry is that inexperienced midfield.

Monthe dropped for the hosts with Clarke taking his place

Clarke back in for the hosts, replacing Monthe.

I share BBTCs reservations about the midfield, but we don’t have many options.

Hemmings last ditch defending keeps the score level.

Playing some good football at times especially down the right. Merrie looking sharp. Need to get hawkes involved more and test their keeper

Bookings for mcalear and Hemmings so far. Both sides average at best in the final third up to now

HT: 0-0.

Pretty even although Walsall have had the better chances. Although that's not difficult when you realise we've had no shots at all. We need to get Hemmings and Lewis into the game.

A fairly average half although Micky will be happy as we’re away from home. We’ve offered very little going forward. Not sure Lewis and Hemmings is working. Could do with burtons speed or the trickery of Morris to test them a bit more as it’s been easy for Clarke etc

No attempts at goal against a team totally out of form is awful however you look at it.

Certainly need to try something different in the second half as it's clearly not working
