I wasn't there and only followed it on BBC Livetext, but the comments above are no surprise. They had 6 shots on target and scored from 5. We failed with all of our three. As somebody said earlier, we needed to frustrate them and get the crowd against them. Surely the tried and tested three centre-backs should have been the system. I am sure Danns and the half-fit Perkins worked their socks off, but have we ever had such an elderly central midfield. Not their fault.
We will survive if morale can be maintained and most of the injured return soon. Then some of the extra investment can be spent in January. Look what happened after the January window last year. All we need is to finish in 20th place or above.
Above all, let's not start blaming anyone for the predicament we are in. It's not Mark's or Micky's or the players' fault. They are all trying their best under difficult circumstances.
