The lads should be buoyed after a good result in the week. Things are getting really tight at the bottom with a number of teams slowly getting sucked into the drop zone. Its really important we dont lose and even a point would continue to apply pressure to those clubs immediately around us. Would take any result as long as we dont lose, fancy a 1-1 with us scoring first. Southend have major problems off the field so you have to hope this begins to effect their on field form.

A win for the white's would really put the cat among the pigeons.;-)

Couple of potential selection dilemas for Les. Unless Goodison is 100% fit, expect him to stick with McCready & Broomes at the back. Will he give Marvin another start, or go back to playing Gornell up front? I got the impression that Sordell didn't make much headway at Gillingham and it might be better to bring him on as an impact player near the end. I'd take a point.
