This is a pivotal match and one which we need at least to draw and preferably win, given 3 of the next 4 games are difficult away fixtures.
Cresswell is definitely out injured and Joss Labadie is banned, so team changes are inevitable. It's significant that we're missing our two set-piece specialists, Welsh hasn't impressed when taking them this season and I've no idea if Weir is any good, as he's the likely midfield replacement. However, given the absences, I'd hope that serious consideration is given to starting with Robinson to plug the gap, either ahead of Weir or instead of Akins.
The other issue will be how many extra will come through the turnstiles, given the £5 entry price? At category C, with visitors who aren't likely to bring more than 200 and the bluenoses across the river at home, we'd normally expect a crowd of about 4.5k. Les has mentioned a 5-figure crowd, in reality, I think we can't hope for more than an extra 2k. I do hope that the team turn in a good performance, rather than one which will drive away any occasional visitor to Prenton Park.
Prediction. I find this one hard to gauge, but am going for a score draw.
