It was Radio City who first leaked the news that Huddersfield were after Kay! They must be getting their news from someone at the club!

I personally think this would be a good signing but I have no doubt people will disagree! lol

He did very well. Top bloke too. As long as he isn't too pricey (if he is we won't get him anyway) I'd welcome him at the club, on a one year contract.

He signed a new contract at Derby last month he's not coming.

I reckon he'd be a risky signing. Could be brilliant, could be awful, depends what he wants from the latter part of his career. Undoubtedly a good player, albeit a little brash and flash, but he has a lot of good qualities, and would boost the profile of the club like McAteer did, Aldo, Nevin etc which in turn might attract other good players who would want to be alongside him.

If he wasn't a break the bank signing, I'd give it the thumbs up, but I doubt it will materialise to be honest.

I can't find a link but I remember him saying on 5 Live during a match commentry that Nigel Clough had given him a new contract.
