Has anyone else noticed this?
We've lost eight games this year in league and cups. Four of the league games have been against teams now in the bottom half of the table and two of our three cup defeats were at home to League Two opposition. Apart from that, only Hull City and Carlisle (8th) have beaten us.
On the other hand, we have played everyone else in the top seven of League One and have not lost once!
What's going on? Must be that we can raise our game when we know we're up against it, but can't seem to motivate ourselves when we know the opposition is inferior.
If we are going up, we need to do better against the lower teams. We won't be playing the top seven every week!
