Would be an interesting choice, a more realistic option than some mentioned. However I think he'd need a no 2 like Mathias with experience of this league.

Not hugely experienced as a manager, but he certainly has knowledge of the lower leagues which I think is essential.

Gary Brabin! He used to play for Bury and Blackpool I remember. A bit of a big lad in his heyday as a player, more a chopper Harris in midfield than a masterful playmaker, but still.

Has a good record in his managerial career to date. Would give him a chance, but would prefer a manager who has been there, done that at this level. Steve Cotterill and Steve Coppell would be my personal faves at this moment.
