MP was talking about making sure staff are retained if a takeover does happen. Maybe he's only talking about certain individuals.

Only those on more than two year contracts already, the few left! Not many!
or talking out of his spin again!... ???

But you never know what new owners might do!
Could be a complete sea change and have a good employment policy.
