This situation has been coming for years. Can't keep getting away with it.
 
I knew I’d receive that response from someone but come on… A pragmatic Oldham cruising to a 1-0 victory conceding 2 goals in a minute?
 
A month or two ago we were in poor form but 12 points clear and I was convinced we’d pick up enough points to stay clear.

How wrong I was.

It’s going to go down to the wire. We have some hope after the chesterfield result and performance but are the players mentally strong to cope with the pressure at home on Saturday against an in form Bristol rovers? I’m not convinced at all…

The players will be mentally exhausted I reckon, but maybe Woolery and Watson won't be scarred and can give the place a lift. Also LOC coming back is a positive.
 
We have the hardest run in of the 5 teams and are in the worst form, we keep saying we need a win or 2 wins to stay up but I don't see it happening I think we are going down

Saturday is a must win now, lose or even a draw is not any good any more. We must set up to win the game, the time for excuses are now over, its a win or bust game, win we have a chance, lose does not bear thinking about. Another Saturday afternoon of sitting biting our fingernails I am afraid.

We have won 1 in 18, they have won the last 5, I can only see an away win.

Haven't seen the Chesterfield success yet, so may upgrade my pessimism. The must may be ameliorated abit by the lunchtime match, we still have the GD card!!
 
A 99th minute winner for Rochdale’s Mani Dieseruvwe means Rochdale can still go up automatically but only if they beat York at home in the final league fixture.
 
Not a Rovers old boy but we’ve got plenty of history with him….

Saunders scored the winner for Eastleigh today. Would he have done any worse than Ironside if given the same time on the pitch?
