Another away defeat for Rovers this afternoon continues their poor away form and is Rovers' third loss in four games.

Did anyone go?

I went. Wasn't a bad performance. We looked better side until they scored and then equal to them after that. Like Ronnie said we were let down by our set plays and not defending theirs. Still early in the season. Need to take advantage of the home games on the spin against Northampton and Oldham though.

How did Edds fare at right-back? Seems like Goodi's famed skills as a defensive organiser deserted him, with goals going in from set pieces? This was a game where a draw would have been good. A better indication of where we stand was the Swindon defeat, looking at what's happened to them since.

Well I've taken plenty of crap from the outlaws about this result, on the plus side I was on the telly when goals 2 and 3 went in. You can clearly spot me as the bloke at the front with his head in his hands looking properly fed up. Is the Championship repeated on ITV?

Well where to start. We didnt play that bad in the first 20-25 mins, problem being it was all too predictable, hoof it up to Savage and see what happens. We do have an impressive skill as a team though, I lost count how many times we chested the ball whether it be our passing being wayward or not wanting to head the ball. Personally I think they must of been watching Carry on camping on the team bus especially the babs windsor part.

Anyway back to the match, we had a few chances albeit half chances, plenty of indecision when we got around their box, quite a few corners and all wasted. Our lack of set piece guidance alarms me as their goals came from well worked free kicks. Coyne's organisation skills and communication were basically non existent. He did pull off 2 good saves but overall its a game I think he'll want to forget quickly.

Edds wasnt bad at right back although he was up against a really quick winger and so was Taylor and both were given a torrid time throughout the first half. There did seem to be a lot of clumsy free kicks given away around our area and in teh second half Leicester were denied the most blatant penalty ever seen. Im sure it was Chorley shoved their player over and the ref just played on.
As soon as we brought on shuker and greenacre we seemed to spark a little but you could tell something was missing and even now I cant put my finger on what it was. The last 8 minutes were nerve wracking to say the least until the circus came to town, it was painful to watch 4 clowns trying to keep the ball out. In all fairness it should of been 4 or 5 to them.

Although we lost Im not too downhearted, Leicester have the squad to go straight back up and remember what Fryatt and Howard were like the last time they were in this league. They look even better now.

We're missing McLaren for taking set-pieces.

Unsure about this. Can't remember that many great free-kicks from McLaren, although he is certainly missed for his distribution. O'Callaghan a bit too fond of fancy tricks imo. We've not had a decent free-kick specialist since Ryan Taylor. His namesake Andy taking most at present, without much impact. Barnett, when he plays, can deliver a decent corner.
