From what I have seen of Tehoue he is much more physical than either Akpro or Cassidy and would make a decent foil for one of those two.

He had a decent reputation at Orient, scoring an equaliser against Arsenal if I remember rightly, and would probably make a good signing.

Tehoue didn't feature at all v notlob, so it may be that he's got something better lined up elsewhere?

Don't agree that a target man is crucial. As RLC says Tehoue is both physically strong and has a decent scoring record. Someone of that ilk would do a good job for us.

Tehoue isn't that tall but he's a strong powerful player who can hold the ball up - a target man. Just because he's not 6ft 3 it doesn't mean he's not good in the air. Our recent target men - Enoch, Zola and Savage have all being useless in the air - height does not equal ability to head the ball.

Tehoue will compliment our other strikers quite well. Cassidy is a poacher, Akpa-Akpro is energetic and quick, Stockton is a raw talent who could be quite good, McGurk drifts deep and wide, Tehoue would add a physical edge to that strikeforce - if he signs.

Unless someone will pay him more, then surely we will get him. At this late stage, he may find it difficult as most of the richer clubs will already be sorted.

Yes, one thing we have in our favour now is time. All the good players will have been snapped up by now. If he's holding out for more money, he's running out of time. He might have to bite the bullet and sign for us, god forbid lol
