    New manager appointed
Tranmere Rovers have appointed Darrell Clarke as the club’s new manager.

League Two Fleetwood (0) v Rovers (0)

Yep too late so pointless especially when playing him WB. Didn't touch ball.
Blatant penalty not given...
Taylor barely played at Oldham, I don't think he's physically upto it at the moment

The ref missed a blatant handball near the end but we take the point and move on. Really Morris should have squared to Dennis who would have had a tap in but the shot was comfortable for the keeper.

Carlisle play their game in hand on Tuesday at home to MK Dons, we really could do with Mk getting some from that game

Wasn’t sure about the second penalty chest or arm, but the first looked a decent shout with arm well away from the body when the ball hit.

Definitely a penalty for me, hand away from the body when the ball hit it. Happy with a point but with a bit more going forward, could have easily have been all three. Five unbeaten now and a home game to come Friday. Looking a lot better now than five weeks ago.

Fair play to Crosby he has them organised shame we can't score
I agree. They would be doing better if Crosby had been appointed earlier but the lack of fire power would still have been a problem. Norris was meant to be the man but he has been a sicknote for almost the entire season. Assuming we survive I live in hope that our recruitment is better next season. You can find players from unlikely sources. George Yardley was a Scottish player who signed for Rovers after returning from a stint in Australia. Between 1966 and 1970 he scored 68 goals in 123 games. Pretty amazing really. He was deadly.

Also thought the subs did quite well when they came on. Not as quick as those they replaced but brought experience and guile and we kept the ball a bit better in their half.

As bigmart says Morris really should have squared it to Dennis for a tap in
Thought Jennings and Dennis did reasonably. Morris as well as the failing to square for Dennis mentioned seemed to be a bit off the pace. There was one instant where Rovers were attacking and the home defender miskicked a clearance, but Kieron didn’t react quickly enough to close it down, giving their man the chance to clear properly.

I was puzzled with Crosby replacing Patrick with Sam Taylor in the closing stages. Moving Merrie there or bringing Garrett on would have seemed the more obvious options.

Yardley was a keeper which was more amazing.
Decent draw, at least even, two left footed chances and good penno calls if the referees are looking!
We still and always will with current troops look toothless going forward. At this level and this season proves it, chances at our end will always occur.
Realistically we have to keep clean sheets as goals for rely on flukes mainly.

The failure to sign another striker in January along with the ridiculous decision to keep Adkins as manager for as long as we did are the 2 biggest issues on why we are still in danger of going down
Absolutely. Great example today, Fleetwood were ordinary and with a decent strike force, we'd have won that game. Let's just hope we keep collecting points as we have been for the last few games.

9 points from 15 and against better teams in the top half of the table come on you beautiful whites we love you and just want it to continue
Well said, AM. But as we have already played Carlisle and Morecambe twice, every team we will be playing in League Two will be better than us. ;)
