Deathly silence

We are bringing in a new keeper a beautiful butterfly, we are bringing in ladybirds into the defence some ugly cockroaches in midfield and some bees on the wings and with some Asian hornets with a sting on top
 
From a historically reliable ITK on other board.....
Finalising coaching staff. Likely see former Chester and Wrexham player Kev Roberts as the new physio and potentially Brian Jensen as goalkeeping coach. Sam Mann a forward from college has been given a deal.
Takeover has hit a snag could end up still happening or maybe only an investement - the buyers tried to renegotiate once all the checks were done.

Make of it what you will - anyone on here know anything about this lad Sam Mann?
 
Jensen may make a bit of sense as I think Murphy worked with him in the past.

Mann was top scorer in the league the college play in regularly. Something like 38 goals in 30 games but remember it isn’t like a proper academy but probably worth a punt.

Worth a punt; after all he'll only be costing us an iPhone17, an X-Box subscription and a handful of vapes....
 
New manager announced at Salford. They've gone a bit off piste with the selection process, but may have unearthed a gem. Worked with the Aussie national team and a top Japanese team. Certainly talks a good game.

I'd hope that isn't true, for starters it would be a breach of contract on the part of the buyers, the terms of the sale having been agreed at the start of March and it was their failure to transfer the funds that has caused the delay with the regulator. It's possible of course, or it may be that the Regulator's deeper financial dive has uncovered an issue but until any formal statement all speculation of course. We'll find out sooner or later I guess. It's also worth noting that it is no secret that Ascent/DAV desperately want to acquire a UK club, if they have indeed attempted to renegotiate or otherwise play games at a late stage, that would heavily go against them with the new regulator's rules. It would make it very difficult for them to acquire any UK club if they did decide to pull out of this deal. In addition, we are told there are other interested parties, assuming that's true they would very much be risking Tranmere simply pulling the plug, citing breach of contract, and moving to one of the other interested buyers.

Having just seen that the deal with Essar as front of shirt sponsors has ended with a new sponsor about to be announced, That could point towards new owners' influence.

Whilst that may still be the case, with that having been announced over 3 months ago, why say the new sponsor will be announced soon if it was someone announced 3 months ago?
