Always sad to hear of incidents like these where ex players have lost their way after finishing playing. I remember him as a decent premier league player who was dangerous in front of goal. I hope his family get looked after with a testimonial or something.

It is tragic, saw him play for Man City a couple of times later in his career, but had forgotten his part in our semi-final demise against Villa.
RIP.
