I hate saying it but Grimsby are the better team, at the moment we just have to hope that other scores go for us.

Grimsby on top, Rovers sitting back and no surprise the visitors eventually went ahead. Rovers had 3 chances and put all of them wide. Think we have rode our luck a little before their goal. Joseph very quiet in an attacking sense too.

Joseph showing what a wonder goal that was, been poor. Won't take on full back and control bad. Whits too deep as with woolery.
If other games turn not sure we have anything to turn to

There certainly needs to be an overhaul as regards players. I wonder how close the takeover is.

It is a huge relief to stay up.

However, without fundamental change the downward spiral will continue. For that to be avoided we need Mr Palios to depart.

Relegated Harrogate have actually gained thirteen points on us since New Year's Day, that is how abysmal we have been.

serious question how many players in the dressing room today will really CARE about where tranmere end up playing next season ? not saying the players won,t try but if you are out of contract are you going to bust a gut/risk injury ? will the loanees be already thinking about returning to there parent clubs ? some saying blacker should be involved but because of the loan situation he is the 1st to be left out, i,m sitting here thinking what a total shambles we have become.
i take back what i said about the players caring as they were excellent today the back 5 where solid watson and finlay 2nd half also great but what a difference 2 up top made, i would hope to keep negru and watson for next season if possible.

It’s been a horrible season and a lot of uncertainty ahead. Rovers probably a tad fortunate to come away with the draw, though a little purple patch in the second half, after the subs, where Ironside was one on one with their keeper, then Smith’s bullet header from a corner to earn the point.

I thought the actual performance was the usual tepid fayre under Wild. We were happy to stand off and sit deep for long periods, and we were fortunate Grimsby were in second gear. However, we matched them for chances created and deserved a point.

I thought Ironside's one v one miss was a turning point. That incident seemed to get the crowd up and we had five or ten minutes of pressure resulting in the goal. It was a lovely delivery by Whitaker and a great header by Smith, a throwback to the early weeks of the season.

The equaliser was a good moment in a horrible season. I was quite pleased for Smith as he was decent when he first arrived, before age caught up with him.

I’m still taking it in. Harrogate only had to beat à midtable team and blew a lead.

Interesting that all the bottom five had been in the NL recently and the most recent two have gone down. Unless you put in substantial investment (like Bromley), you won’t kick on.

Ok god it was hard seeing the scores coming in, ok we are safe, thanks mr wild but goodbye and move on, to mark and nicky thank you but its time to retire and get the hell out of the club, to the new owners please give us our club back give us a team to be proud of and a ground to be proud of do that and we will give it back up the Rovers
