Hi there
I am getting in touch with you on behalf of The Gloryhunter, which is a joint project we are running for the new football season with itv.com. The idea is that The Gloryhunter - a bloke called Spencer Austin - goes through the entire 2008/9 football season supporting the team which wins each game that he watches. When he is supporting a team he gets to know everything about that club, its fans and the area.
The draw threw up Grimsby Town as the Gloryhunter's first game, and as they drew 0-0 with Rochdale, he remains with them. But all that could change depending on the result of the Carling Cup game this week: Grimsby v Tranmere
If the Super Whites come out on top then the Gloryhunter will pack up his bags and head to Tranmere on Thursday 14th August in preparation for your home game against Hartlepool on Saturday the 16th.
We would love all Tranmere fans to know about The Gloryhunter's visit and will be setting up various things to publicise his time spent there.
In fact if you know of a supporters event in the next couple of weeks please let us know and the GH will be there.
We'd be happy to publicise you all in the video 'webisodes' he will be filming - the first few are up now on -

You can use the simple contact form on the site to get in touch with the Gloryhunter and arrange to take him out for a pint before the game, or just to tell him what he should check out whilst he's in your town.
So just remember if Rovers come out on top this Tuesday, The GH will be Tranmere bound!!
