While having the highest budget in the Division the Club has stagnated, not helped by an inability to move into a 12k capacity Council owned stadium. He clearly has no idea about fan culture which is often historical and nostalgia based. Who is going to suddenly become a diehard fan of what is essentially a vanity project? A game to go to when Utd or City, or whoever, are not playing Is the best you can hope for. If Nicky and his mates were genuine they might have bought an existing Club with history and a fan base.
