alright guys just been reading his autobiography and there is a hugely interesting couple of pages on tranmere the jist of this is in 2003 he was offered the job but before he went to the interview he rang up aldo and asked about the job and aldo warned him about Lorraine Rogers being very hands on - Now in the interview Macari explains what he wants his players to do ( get fit no drinking around him e.g. players bar team coach etc ) what not to do and how he wants the club to be run, he comes out of the interview and see's Steve Cotteril outside the door with coaches and briefcases - anyway macari gets a phone call later in the week for a final interview Rogers offers him the job and says he must keep John Mcmahon - Fair enough - Macari asks to bring in Joe Jordan and this is where it starts faltering Rogers says she has to Interview him aswell - Anyway Macari accepts and he's asked to travel on the team coach to plymouth for the game - This is when he first sees the contract Rogers has put in a clause stating that he could be released with 28 days notice for no reason. Macari passes this onto the LMA who gets back to him saying this and several other things in the contract were unacceptable. So Macari rings rogers up and says he cant go on the team coach with this happening and the fact Mcmahon had been training them all week. Rogers obvoiusly annoyed says she will sort this out. On the Monday Brian Little was appointed, Little had been told earlier in the week he hadnt been succesful and wont be getting the job.

I seriously reccomend anyone near a book shop to look in and read this towards the back of the book
