The youth team lost on penalties last night to Fleetwood after drawing 3 3. The game was live on you tube, I watched a bit of the game which was pretty entertaining and by all accounts rovers plated very well.

That is a decent performance against a League One side with plenty of money to spend on their academy.

Yes, it was a pretty good performance by our youngsters, playing some decent football showing pace and commitment. It was just a shame that having been in the lead 3 times they couldnt hang on. Still, despite the inevitable disappointment of not progressing in the competition, each and everyone of the team should be proud of their efforts.....they wore the Rovers shirt with pride.
