You have one chance to go and grab a Tranmere player from any time in the past (as long as he was playing for Rovers!) and put him straight into the line-up for Rovers on saturday. Who would it be?

Personally I think it would have to be someone creative. Maybe Morrissey or Nevin on one of the wings.

By the way, while you are back in time, you are ONLY allowed to bring 1 Tranmere player with you, definately no hot women and you aren't allowed to place any bets that would make you a millionaire when you get back!).

For me it would be Pat Nevin. Different class

of course Dixie was a phenomenon, but would he get enough decent service from the current midfield? I think with Nevin out on the left, Delroy and Greenacre would both hit 25 each this season.

I think we need some creation in the team still... so I'd go for Nevin or Morrisey... Nevin I think.

I think he is mate. Isn't he on the radio a fair bit too?

Anyways, back to the question. I'd have Aldo. Always guaranteed goals with the marksman in your side.
