I didn't go to the game so would be interested to see how a few of the new signings got on. Not great news on the injuries of Goodie, McCrystal and Ash so Ronnie has some work to do before Chesterfield seeing as it can not be postponed. Maybe a few of the youngens will get a shot to impress before the league kicks off...

Oh well, we managed to hang on at the end with 9 men and had a decent second half by all accounts...

pre-season games dont mean that much.they are more for players to prove there fitness.from what i read on another website there was a handful of tranmere fans that went to port vale.it is bad luck thats 3 central defenders are now injured.Ronnie is having a headache who to bring in and paul black is injured too.\\/
