well, the first game at pp on the amazing carpet we have shame it's not being screened live. it's great to be talking about footie again and with loads of new players to see its an exciting time to be had. also will be good seeing some rovers old boys back. let's hope for some goals and a good run out for the lads.

Strong starting line up, but with only one recognised striker (Ferrier), so presumably Kahn or CBT playing just off him.

Nelson not involved again (nor Ray), so either injured or potentially on their way out.

I don't think it means much at this stage, but a bit of a surprise. The first half sounded OK.

Two successive defeats but nothing to worry about. Results don’t matter at the moment.

From the twitter feed it sounded like we created enough chances in the first hour but either didn’t convert or their keeper made good saves. The Warrington goals were a mistake, a worldie and a penalty.

Accept its only a friendly. However getting beat by this margin to a team 3 leagues below us does raise concerns, as does the failure to score. Hopefully we’ve another game after Preston to build some confidence and understanding

There really are no concerns. Wait until they are fully fit and the competitive games start. Friendlies are purely for fitness.

Yes it's only pre-season and we appear to have created a lot of chances but even so... still not scored and to concede 3 against Warrington is very poor no matter whether it is pre-season or not.
Jacko seemed pleased with the chances created in the first 60 minutes in his interview but then said it went pear shaped after that. Let's hope that Tuesday shows an improvement.

In his post-match interview Mike Jackson mentioned a game at Burnley after Preston.

Warrington are only part-time, so you'd expect a team of professionals, even if not fully fit, to come out on top over 90 minutes most of the time.

it's only the second game in 6 months things can only improve. with new players coming in all the time it's going to take time to gel

I can't watch the live stream on Tuesday as we are fully booked and going for another hammering so will watch later score permitting lol. sounds as if the lads made loads of chances today but as we have said b4 5 or 6 months with no games and a new team is going to take some time to gel

To lose to a team 3 league's below us 3 0 is embarrassing even though it was a pre season friendly, neither side had played much for over 5 months so that's not an excuse for us.

With Preston then burnley up next we could do with at least getting a goal before the real stuff starts.
